Gareth A Hopkins (aka grthink)
I'm an artist/illustrator, and live in Essex. I work in a range of mediums and styles -- intricate black line work (aka 'grthinking') has become my signature style, but I also frequently use watercolours, photography and photomanipulation.
I'm married to a wonderful lady called Amy and have an amazing son named Bill, and they both tolerate my eccentricities admirably.
I started including the pretentious ‘A’ in my name to make myself stand out from the various cricketers, acrobats, phyisists and teenagers who I share google search results with, but now it feels weird when it’s not included - I'm no longer plain ol' Gareth Hopkins.
I also goes under the pseudonym ‘grthink’ which is a combination of ‘grth’ (which is a contraction of Gareth) and ‘ink’. It’s pronounced ‘ger-think’ but nobody gets that first time.
